Cabernet Caipirinha

INGREDIENTS

  • Blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries
  • Lemon
  • Cachaça (Brazil’s popular distilled spirit)
  • Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Lemon juice, orange juice, and cranberry juice
  • Simple syrup (gomme syrup)
  • Lemon and orange slices for garnish
  • Ice

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a large pitcher, mash the berries and lemon slices until well crushed.
  2. Add cachaça, Viña Maipo Cabernet Sauvignon, lemon juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, syrup, and some ice. Stir until the mixture is well chilled.
  3. To serve, pour into glasses and garnish with lemon and orange slices.
