RUSTIC PIZZA WITH SERRANO HAM

INGREDIENTS
  • 500 g of white flour
  • 30 g of fresh yeast
  • 200-250 cc of warm water
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 8 slices of Serrano ham
  • 1 bag of arugula
  • 200 cc of tomato sauce
  • 1 fresh garlic clove chopped
  • 160 g of grated cheese
  • Oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper

PREPARATION: steps 1

To make the dough, arrange the flour on a counter, add a little salt, oil and the yeast dissolved with a little warm water. Knead the dough with your hands vigorously, adding warm water if necessary, for 10-15 minutes. You will get a soft, compact dough. Let stand about 2 hours, covering it with a cloth.

In a bowl put the tomato sauce, garlic and oregano. Mix everything and put aside.

Sprinkle some flour over the counter and roll out the dough. Stretch the dough on a baking tray, poke with a fork and, spread a little tomato sauce and cheese over it.

Bake the dough at 250°C for 10-15 minutes and, once slightly brown, remove from the oven. Finally, put the Serrano ham and fresh arugula on top.
