Felling like a homemade “sangría”? With a red wine from Viña Maipo, cubed seasonal fruits and a liter of lemon or orange soda, enjoy this homemade drink.
INGREDIENTS
750 ml of Merlot or another red wine from Viña Maipo
2 peaches
1 apple
1/2 cinnamon stick
1 can (330 ml) of soda (optional, but works great)
Squeeze the oranges, strain their juice and put it in the jar or container where the sangria will be served. Add the Merlot or another red wine from Viña Maipo.
PREPARATION: steps 2
Peel the apple and peaches, cut them into squares and add them to the jar. Also add the cinnamon stick.
PREPARATION: steps 3
To prepare the syrup, put the sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat for a few minutes until the sugar dissolves. Add to the jar and stir everything very well.
PREPARATION: steps 4
Let the carafe rest at room temperature for about 2 or 3 hours, so that the flavors merge and the wine takes on all the flavor of the fruit.
PREPARATION: steps 5
Just before serving, add the soda so that it does not lose its bubbles. Serve directly in glasses with ice cubes.
